The Blues Club was alive with the spirit of tradition this week as we celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from the training mats and courts to embrace our rich cultural heritage as one “Blues” family.
- Festive Traditions: From the lighting of the traditional oil lamp to sharing Kiribath and sweetmeats, the club was filled with the sights and tastes of the season.
- Avurudu Games: We brought our competitive energy to traditional games! Whether it was the sack race or breaking the pot, the laughter and sportsmanship reminded us why our community is so special.
- A Multi-Sport Family: It was wonderful to see our basketballers, karatekas, and judokas celebrating side-by-side, embodying the unity that defines our club.
- Prosperity & Growth: As we look toward the rest of 2026, we wish all our members a year filled with health, success, and many victories on and off the court.
Subha Aluth Avuruddak / Puthandu Vazthukal! We are excited to carry this energy into our upcoming training sessions.
